Yet another unique feature of this extensive
villa is the number of comfortably designed
dining areas ready for family, business
or romantic affairs. The house was designed
understanding that the owners or renters
may want to entertain or have a quiet
candlelit dinner overlooking the ocean.
All of this and more are available throughout
the villa and have been carefully designed
for discriminating tastes.
Formal Dining
The main dining room, located just
outside the gourmet kitchen, offers
the space and ambiance for formal
or group dining. Set under the soft
lights of custom bronze and alabaster
chandeliers with hand-painted murals
and a massive stone fireplace, the
main dining room has ample seating
for a full house. If you are inviting
guests from the area to join, the
main dining area can be expanded
to hold up to 30 people comfortably!
Al Fresco Dining
Just outside of the main dining area
is the al fresco dining area that, as
the name implies, is outside under the
stars. Actually it is a raised patio under
flowering plants weaving though a spectacular
custom Pergola overlooking a private pond
and romantic front garden area. With extremely
comfortable seating and views of the setting
sun over the mountains, dining outside
has become a favorite pastime of many
who visit Villa Castellamonte.
Romantic Private Dining
Out on the terrace, next to the Siena
Suite is a quiet, romantic location for
couples seeking a private time alone.
With seating for only 4 you can invite
your closest friends to enjoy the sweeping
ocean views before retiring to your suite.
The Siena Terrace has its own portable
dry bar stocked with only the finest liquors
and wines to enhance your romantic feelings.
Grand Terrace Dining
Under the deep coverings of the grand
terrace is yet another dining area around
a hand-chiseled custom coralina stone
table weighing over 800 pounds. Coralina
is a stone indigenous to the island and
is really coral from the upheaval of the
seas over 35 million years ago. The small
sea creatures embedded in the stone offer
an amazing glimpse of the past while you
relax over your wonderfully prepared meal
or drink. The grand terrace overlooks
the ocean and pool so this area will rapidly
become a likely gathering spot for lunchtime
as well.
Kiosko Dining
Under the stars by the swimming pool
or under cover in the kiosko, the dining
experience here is designed to benefit
from the top-of-the-line barbeque grill
in the kiosko. You can watch as your chef
prepares the food over the open flame
or take the spatula yourself to show how
well you can barbeque! Eating under the
Caribbean stars while being spoiled by
Italian elegance is truly a dream come
true!
